Executive summary

The year 2023 is drawing to a close and we'll be welcoming the year 2024. It's hard to deny the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in influencing technology trends. In an atmosphere of economic uncertainty, artificial intelligence (AI), or more specifically generative AI (GAI), will also be a cornerstone of the upward trend in technology in the coming year. At present, it seems that the tech landscape in 2024 will be a bit of a "bright spot", driven by overall healthy inventories and continued upward profitability for the world's major tech giants. However, due to the high level of uncertainty in the economy as a whole, and the expectation of whether or not next year's interest rate cuts will bring about a recession, and other factors in general, the tech landscape will not see any "sunshine" in the form of significant growth, but rather localized rebound. The current observation should be at the end of the year.
