Executive summary

CES 2024 in Las Vegas Convention Center Hall Stage, is staging digital health (digital health) annual show. Human needs drive the development of technology applications, and the essence of demand comes from the value that the user end cares about. 2023 is the first year of generative GAI, and 2024 GAI+AI into healthcare has been the highlight of the development of the refinement of the health industry. From the demander's insight, the innovation angle of this CES 2024 in the field of digital health comes from the conceptual upgrading of the three main axes of future care technology, women's health technology and elderly care technology with GAI+AI as the core. Digital health technology ranges from mobile health, telemedicine (virtual diagnosis), medical information, remote monitoring, nursing care, personalized health care to women's cosmetics technology, etc. Under the leadership of GAI+AI-enabled technological innovations, it is constantly creating automated products and solutions for health, medical and care needs to meet the value of healthcare's unfulfilled needs.

In addition to the familiar smart wearable devices, smart home devices, advanced medical instrumentation devices or robots, the digital health products on display this time will become an important trend affecting the future development of digital health products by importing GAI medical, GAI beauty, GAI solutions and platform services, and connecting AI/ML medical and healthcare equipments and devices. From CTA's "Driving Consumer Adoption of Digital Health Solutions" and "Decoding Consumer Sentiment and the AI Outlook 2023" reports, it is noted that 64% of respondents are willing to receive remote GAI physician consultations, 42% of Americans surveyed believe that AI/ML will have a positive and positive impact on healthcare, and are willing to allow AI/ML tools to perform medical diagnostics, and 29% respondents are even willing to allow AI/ML tools to perform medical surgeries. It is not difficult to see the degree of market popularity of GAI+AI technology, which also symbolizes that the exploration of the potential business value of GAI+AI in healthcare applications is underway.

GAI+AI讓居家醫療、居家檢測、居家監測和居家照護更落地

2023年CES在未來前瞻醫療健康科技概念上，提出未來護理照護大變革，居家護理將成主流，醫療方案送到家的理念，從虛擬醫院(Virtual hospital)和居家住院 (Hospital at home)，將『遠距醫療』和『AI/ML 輔助診斷』等科技應用，透過科技串接醫院端、居家端和護理端打造虛實整合照護系統，形成醫療照護分級，透過居家醫療健保系統，串連醫療照護過程中收集到的所有數據，作為整體醫療照護決策和判斷的依據，讓部分醫療在家進行，或讓醫療護理服務在家提供。為了讓未來護理科技中遠距醫療、居家照護或居家住院概念更落地，今年CES隨著GAI ChatGPT大型自然語言模型的問世，與AI/ML醫療健康設備的迭代更新和整合發展，將進一步透過GAI和AI /ML技術開啟以價值為基礎的醫療健康內容。過去僅是產生大量醫療健保數據和圖表，沒有分析、整理和判讀，對於醫療人員或消費者也無濟於事，GAI和AI /ML的價值在於GAI大型語言模型可提供快速且詳細的分析，任何人無論是專業醫療人員或消費者，都可透過GAI收集的大量內容進行理解、組織和整合，不僅是獲取訊息，更能總結訊息，透過對話以查詢更多資訊和知識，搭配AI/ML醫療健康設備的數據收集、分析和管理，或與智慧穿戴設備如手錶或健身追蹤器等集成，在收集即時用戶數據的同時，進行用戶數據訓練，或組合其他數據進行整合和綜合訓練，來提供更精確地個人化建議。AI/ML也可以透過分析用戶健康記錄和醫療資料庫的數據，幫助識別用戶健康數據的樣態和趨勢、識別行為趨勢、識別潛在風險因素，從而滿足健康狀態追蹤、潛在疾病患者識別、即時警示或警報、及早進行健康或疾病干預，提供個人化護理建議或預測病患的治療效益，因此GAI和AI/ML自動化，將更有效率地解決臨床記錄自動化，用戶監測任務自動化，以及大型用戶臨床和社會數據分析自動化等。此外GAI和AI/ML對於臨床數據審查自動化，如電子病例數據自動化分析、醫療流程的解決方案自動化，以及醫療設備自動化分析判讀，將協助臨床醫生減少臨床數據處理，支持多項臨床護理人員的任務、從而減輕當前醫生和護理人員的負擔。

為解決遠距醫療僅停留在透過視訊與醫生通話的虛擬問診，受惠於AIOT遠距醫療平台和AI /ML輔助診斷技術的提升，讓遠距醫療看診環節中遠距檢查和診斷功能進一步落地，CES也展出多項居家檢測、診斷分析的管理工具，將醫療服務內容和工具，從醫院端、醫師辦公室或診所搬回家中，讓醫院去中心化，透過智慧家庭科技融合數位健康穿戴設備，以及AI/ML居家診斷醫療設備，讓居家病患與醫生更高效地進行遠距診療，讓居家醫療、居家檢測、居家監測和居家照護等需求更安心落地，目前除糖尿病照護和居家AI智能科技看護(生命特徵監控)外，延伸至居家AI心電圖心臟護理、居家AI 尿液檢測、居家AI慢性呼吸道照護(慢性阻塞性肺病或哮喘)、居家AI傷口護理、居家AI呼吸中止症檢測、居家AI洗腎、或未來的GAI看診等，GAI+AI居家診療創新正在改變健康照護模式。

對應上述的GAI+AI居家診療需求，如圖1，本次CES現場展示未來護理科技產品，ART Lab推出SkinChat GAI皮膚聊天機器人最為搶眼，皮膚科醫生經20 萬多張皮膚照片和專業護膚資料庫的訓練，開發出能識別皮膚問題的GPT皮膚聊天機器人，來提供個人化皮膚諮詢，未來更有望開發成GAI皮膚科醫生; 居家診斷設備則以Withings開發的 BeamO AI多功能健康感應器裝置最受關注，搭載聽診器與非接觸體溫量測功能，結合溫度計、脈搏血氧儀、心電圖和聽診器(心跳聲音與肺部呼吸聲音)等功能，為遠距看診增添新的看診利器。
