Vision
We have become a credible and influential research organization that, unlike ordinary market research firms and brokerage firms, takes into account both market trends and industry insights, and has become an important partner in strategic planning, business opportunity creation, and marketing and promotion for Taiwanese companies in the process of their growth and development.
mission
Our professional team conducts research and studies on trends and business opportunities in specific areas to provide clients with accurate market insights and help companies grow. We are committed to researching key technologies, products, and corporate trends in three major global industries: technology/semiconductor, green energy/electric vehicles, and healthcare/medical biotechnology, as well as identifying companies that can be strategically invested in.
Witology was awarded the 22nd Golden Peak Award "Top Ten Outstanding Enterprises" and "Top Ten Outstanding Enterprise Entrepreneurial Models".
Witology Markettrend research institute- U.S. Branch Office
The U.S. occupies the most important position in the global technology, energy and biotechnology industries, with a large end-market and high-level technology, especially in the semiconductor and electric vehicle fields are leading the global technology and market development. As an important base for global semiconductor manufacturing, Taiwan has played an indispensable role in the rise of related fields in recent years. However, in the face of rapid market changes and technological iterations, how enterprises can maintain an edge in global competition and find new growth points in innovation and sustainable development are issues that need to be addressed.
In view of this, Chipu has established a U.S. branch office in Austin, Texas, a major technology town in the U.S. The office is dedicated to promoting in-depth cooperation between Taiwan and U.S. industries in the fields of science and technology and energy, linking Taiwan and the U.S. with related businesses, and assisting more first-class Taiwan enterprises to develop in the U.S. At the same time, it also targets suitable U.S. resources for investment and contributes to building a bridge between the U.S. and Taiwan in the field of industrial cooperation. At the same time, we will also target suitable U.S. resources and recommend them for investment in Taiwan, contributing to the building of a bridge between the U.S. and Taiwan in the field of industrial cooperation. Austin is home to the headquarters of many large semiconductor and technology companies, such as AMD and Dell, as well as Tesla, the leading electric vehicle manufacturer. Austin is also an important location for chip manufacturing, including Samsung, NXP, and Infineon, all of which have fabs in Austin, as well as TSMC, which has a design center there. Austin is no less connected to Taiwan's technology industry than Silicon Valley. As a result, Taiwanese companies can more effectively cooperate with leading U.S. technology companies. In addition to business expansion, these partnerships include product innovation, market development, and cutting-edge technology research and development in high-tech areas such as semiconductors, electric vehicles, and biomedical materials.
Currently, in the global AI market, many U.S. companies have more resources to carry out industrial consolidation or integration, and ChipMOS has the trend insight, business opportunity sensitivity, and resource integration ability, so it can play the role of a strategic partner to promote the depth of U.S.-Taiwan enterprise cooperation, such as strategic mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investment, or technology cooperation, and so on. We hope that through these collaborations, companies will be able to further strengthen their own physical qualities and move forward steadily on the road of competition and sustainable development.
Major Research Areas
Aiming at three major industries: Technology/ Semiconductor, Sustainable Energy/Electric Vehicles, and Healthcare/ Precision medicine.
With the arrival of the Internet and AI era, the development of technology has brought a lot of convenience to life, and at the same time, it has also subtly changed our lives. In the process of technological development and progress, the core technology of hardware is semiconductor. Currently, Taiwan has been ranked as a global leader in the semiconductor industry, with a complete semiconductor industry chain, from IC design, manufacturing to testing and packaging. Its specialized division of labor model is unique in the world, and its total IC production value ranks second globally. In recent years, with the rise of global turbulence and geopolitics, semiconductors have become a strategic asset of unspeakable importance. While Moore's Law is gradually coming to an end, mankind's dependence on semiconductors is increasing rather than decreasing, and the development of the semiconductor industry is closely related to Taiwan's technology industry. The development of the semiconductor industry is closely related to Taiwan's technology industry. Therefore, the Institute has identified Technology/Semiconductors as one of its major areas of interest.
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) is now a key tenet of sustainable business and a practical course of action for practicing social responsibility. Companies that prioritize ESG principles are likely to achieve long-term success. The ESG issues these companies focus on typically revolve around green energy initiatives. As laws and regulations continue to be updated, the sale of fuel cars will be banned in Norway by 2025 at the earliest, and countries around the world are joining in. As a result, many car makers (including mainstream car makers) have put forward relevant plans for transformation, and promoted the development of electric vehicles in line with government policies. Due to the rapid and flourishing development of the industry, both the technology and business models are continuously evolving, creating endless business opportunities. Therefore, the Institute has identified Sustainable/Electric vehicles as one of the major areas of concern.
Healthcare is a global concept based on the development of modern society and the evolution of prevalent diseases. In addition to the traditional concepts of life - and - death, it also surrounds our food, clothing and shelter. It focuses on the various risk factors affecting health and promotes self-health management. With new technologies such as databases and artificial intelligence, human beings can achieve comprehensive physical and mental health care. Taiwan has officially launched a national bio-database integration platform program. This initiative will facilitate the effective integration and utilization of various databases, contributing to the construction of an accurate healthcare system. Nowadays, the focus in healthcare has shifted from "treatment" to "prevention." With the impact of COVID-19, there is a heightened public interest in using technology to enhance medical techniques and optimize resources. Therefore, the Institute has identified major Healthcare/Precision Medicine as one of the major areas of concern.
